About
I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in the south of England.
I am drawn to the instability of things, the insubstantiality of time and memory and self. Working primarily with pinhole cameras and other alternative photographic processes alongside found sound and moving image, I examine ideas of identity and self-erasure, of being present in the moment and disappearing into it.
I am interested in distortion and the disrupted image, embracing mistakes and accidents and glitches, allowing happenstance to intervene in the creation of one-off images. I use old analogue and obsolete film formats alongside digital technology to play with the idea of generation loss and the fallibility of human memory.
