About

I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in the south of England.

My work is an exploration of landscape and self, our connections to place and time and how we collect and recall memories. Working primarily with pinhole cameras and other alternative photographic processes alongside found sound and moving image, I examine ideas of identity and self-erasure, of being present in the moment and disappearing into it, and how connection to place is the conduit for all of this.

I am interested in distortion and the disrupted image, embracing mistakes and accidents and glitches. I use old analogue and digital technology alongside each other to play with the idea of generation loss and the fallibility of human memory.
